We are grateful for the successful outreach held today at Yemisi Alogi Orphanage and Children’s Home in Abeokuta, Ogun State on the 29th of July, 2021. On behalf of the Hope Catalyst Initiative, we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the outreach with donations.
The children were engaged in a session focused on moral values, learning essential principles that every child should know and practice. In the session titled “My Health, My Life,” the kids were excited to learn more about their health and personal hygiene practices, both at home and in public. The career talk session began by asking the children about their future aspirations. They were enlightened on the importance of education and the need to take their academics seriously. Additionally, they learned about identifying and utilizing their talents at any given opportunity.
Additionally, the kids learned how to make doughnuts, a new skill that excited them. The session ended with everyone enjoying the delicious doughnuts together, capturing the moment with photos. It was indeed a great outreach, filled with learning, fun, and love!
