Our Inspiring Journey

Hope Foundation for Grassroots Impact (HFGI) formerly known as Hope Catalyst Initiative is a registered non-profit organization that was established in 2019. We are dedicated to fostering sustainable development across Africa. We create lasting change in communities through targeted initiatives in education, leadership, and economic empowerment.
Our focus on quality education seeks to equip children with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve their lives and make meaningful contributions to society. 
Through our leadership programs, we empower individuals to take initiative and inspire positive change within their communities. 
Additionally, we promote economic empowerment by providing resources and opportunities for entrepreneurship and economic growth

5 Years of Impact

Since 2019, Hope Catalyst Initiative has been dedicated to creating meaningful change and offering hope to those in need. Thanks to the support of our incredible community, we’ve achieved significant milestones over the past five years.
Key Achievements:
Virtual Entrepreneurship Training (2020): Hosted a successful virtual skill acquisition program for over 50 participants during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing critical entrepreneurial skills in a challenging time.

Personal and Professional Development: Conducted webinars and presentations to enhance the personal and professional growth of our participants, fostering skills for future success.

Educational Support in Abeokuta: Delivered essential educational materials to schools in Abeokuta, Ogun State, contributing to improved learning environments.

Orphanage Outreach: Visited 10 orphanages across Lagos State, Ogun State, and Oyo State, providing educational resources, food materials, and vocational training to support the well-being and development of children in need.

Support for Children with Disabilities: Provided clothing, food, and educational resources to two homes for children with disabilities in Ogun State and Oyo State, enhancing their quality of life and access to education.

Community Outreach in Odeda: Organized a community event in Odeda, Ogun State, where over 100 children received educational gifts, were empowered through career talks, and received motivational support to inspire and guide their future endeavors.

ADEPOJU OLUWADAMILOLA

Executive Director

Oluwadamilola Adepoju is a social entrepreneur and the Executive Director of Hope Foundation For Grassroots Impact, an organization she founded to drive sustainable societal change through impactful development initiatives. 
With a background rooted in science and a strong commitment to addressing critical social issues, she has held various significant roles within nonprofit organizations, assuming diverse leadership positions. Her contributions have driven economic development, advocated for human rights, and promoted active civic participation.

BAYONLE FESOBI

Member Board of Trustee

Bayonle Fesobi is a Nigerian advocate for peaceful and inclusive societies and sustainable development. He has volunteered with African Students For Liberty, promoting individual freedom and economic liberty. Bayonle is a social change agent passionate about enlightening youth participation in governance. He is a certified Human Resource manager and Lead Consultant at Hub Professional Consult, where he trains young Nigerians in Civic Leadership, Public Speaking, and Project Management. 
He holds a degree in Political Science and has received several awards for his leadership and research work. Bayonle is also a trained and certified Community Development Expert who volunteers with the Young African Leaders Initiative and is a YALI RLC Fellow. He has worked with various organizations and has a strong track record of leading and executing educational programs. Bayonle has been trained by the prestigious Atlas Network, Virginia in Marketing and Communications and holds a Certificate in MarCom360 from the 2022 Cohort Training in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds a Certificate in Strategy and Action from the Lagos Business School. He enjoys playing the piano and traveling in his leisure time.

TEMITOPE E. OBAYEMI

Member Board of Trustee

Temitope E. Obayemi is a dedicated professional with a strong background in Accounting. She graduated with first-class honors in Accounting and is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Affiliate member of the Associate Certified Chartered Accountant (UK). Temitope’s academic excellence has earned her several awards, including the title of overall best student in West Africa and the best female student during her Accounting Technician Induction. She also received the prestigious Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) Scholarship.
With over five years of experience in statutory auditing and corporate financial reporting, Temitope has honed her skills in analyzing financial data, assessing performance, and building financial models. She currently works as an Accounting Associate at a global technology company, contributing to its financial success. Beyond her professional work, Temitope is passionate about sharing her knowledge. She speaks at conferences and webinars, offers guidance in professional and financial matters, and volunteers for causes she cares about.

ADEBIYI ABIADE YUSUF

Member Board of Trustee

Adebiyi Abiade Yusuf is the creative director of the Adire brand Abíádé, a distinguished leader in the African textile design, and fashion industry. With a deep passion for preserving and innovating traditional African fashion, Abíádé has dedicated over 5 years to crafting and promoting exquisite Adire and Batik designs. Under his leadership, Abíádé has grown from a small startup into a renowned brand celebrated for its unique fusion of tradition and modern style.
As a visionary entrepreneur, Abíádé is committed to empowering communities and fostering creativity. He spearheads various initiatives, including Ego Foundation Adire Facilitator and LAUTECH Sap Adire facilitator, that aim to uplift and sustain the rich cultural heritage of African textiles. In addition to his work as a computer science graduate of Unilorin, Abiade has developed a model of vigenere cipher with steganography(LSB) for media copyright as his undergraduate project
Abiade serves on the Board of Trustees for Hope foundations for grassroots Impact where he contributes his expertise and passion for grassroots development.

CHRISTOPHER BUSAYO OLOWOSOKE

Secretary, Board of Trustee

Christopher Busayo Olowosoke is the CEO of B.Khrease Academic Consult. He is a research fellow and an active member of several professional organizations, including the Institute of Bioinformatics and Molecular Therapeutics (IBMT) and the Computer-aided Therapeutic Discovery and Design Platform (CATDD). Through these roles, he mentors young leaders on transformative culture.
With over five years of research experience, Christopher has earned multiple awards and grants, such as the UNESCO-International Centre for Biotechnology award in 2021, the American Society for Nutrition Early Career Scientists (ASN-ECS) award in 2022, and the New Frontiers in Research Fund award in 2023 for climate change research. He has authored and co-authored several publications in drug discovery and human disease research, as well as promoting student writing skills. Christopher is currently pursuing his PhD at RMIT University.
