“Giving is a unique power we all possess that creates synergy in the world. It is great for the giver, but beyond that, it impacts and touches the lives of others, creating a catalyst for hope.”
On December 21st, 2019, our visit to the Ijamido Children’s Home in Ota was an unforgettable experience filled with joy, learning, and inspiration. This special day was packed with activities designed to empower and uplift the children, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.
We kicked off the day with a career talk, as the children were eager to learn about potential future opportunities and how to achieve their dreams. Following the career session, a health talk was conducted to educate the children on the importance of maintaining good health and hygiene. Practical tips and advice were given to help them stay healthy and active.
Skill Acquisition (Snacks Making):
A hands-on skill acquisition workshop focused on snacks making was a highlight of the day. The children enthusiastically participated, learning how to make simple snacks. This activity not only taught them a new skill but also emphasized the importance of self-sufficiency and creativity.
“Every Orphan’s hope builds new families for a better life.” Our most important task as a nation is to ensure all young people can achieve their dreams. We believe children are the foundation of our future, and it is our responsibility to mold them into great leaders. This journey begins with helping them develop the confidence to become strong leaders.
